AtoM Installations for Explore York Archives and Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC)

We’re extremely pleased to announce the completion of two new, bespoke DRYAD / AtoM installations. The first installation, carried out for Explore York Archives and Libraries (EYLA), utilised Max’s ‘Crosswalker’ tool to migrate nearly 160,000 entries from EYLA’s existing CALM installation to AtoM and confirmed Crosswalker’s efficacy as a tried and tested CALM to AtoM migration tool. The second, carried out for Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC) comprised an upgrade from AtoM 2.3.1 to 2.6.2 and data migration from the old installation to the new. Both installations utilised DRYAD’s secure hosting service and benefited from Max’s ability to produce intuitive AtoM user interfaces which harmonise with existing organisational branding.
Seen in tandem, these two installations demonstrate the flexibility of the DRYAD / AtoM service and the ease with which it can be adapted to incorporate disparate use cases.
